IRSAM - The International Relations Students' Association of McGill

Our membership consists of a diverse group of McGill students from a range of faculties and academic programs.

IRSAM strives to empower, inspire, and educate youth with a passion for International Relations by providing them with an inclusive platform to engage in global citizenship and lead tomorrow’s change. IRSAM Inc. - The International Relations Students' Association of McGill is McGill University's largest student group encompassing over 280 members, 700 associate staff, and serves over 4,000 people

every year, many of them being students. The diversity of IRSAM’s portfolios allow students to engage in a variety of activities. From Model UN with the McGill Delegation Team, SSUNS, and McMUN, to our incredible publications the McGill International Review and FLUX, to our student-led volunteer group Junior Peacemakers, to our Youth Advisory Delegation to the UN, to our Finance, Internal, and President portfolio: there are countless ways to get involved! A federally incorporated, not-for-profit corporation with special consultative status to the Economic and Social Council and the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations, IRSAM has something to offer everyone within and outside the McGill community. From our community outreach programs, to our Model UN team & conferences, to our incredible publications – IRSAM has a broad range of events and activities that focus on international relations, current events, the United Nations, and local volunteer work.

Congratulations to our newly elected Secretary-General of SSUNS 2026, Marcus Kelly! Marcus was our Director of Events for SSUNS 2025 and led his portfolio with great passion and dedication, we are so excited to see what he will accomplish in this new role for SSUNS 2026!
