Workshop Details
Session: Winter 2026
Start Date: February 9, 2026 (Level 1) and Feb 11, 2026 (Level 2)
Class Schedule (In-Person):
Level 1 (Beginner): Mondays, 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Level 2 (Intermediate 1): Wednesdays, 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: In-person classes. Classroom details will be shared once the room booking is confirmed.
Who Can Join
Open to Concordia Graduate Students
Maximum of 50 students per level
Placement & Eligibility
Level 1 is ideal for complete beginners.
Level 2 is for students with prior French experience.
Students enrolled in Level 2 will be assessed during the first class to confirm eligibility.
Class Format
Classes will focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a stronger emphasis on everyday conversation and practical usage, especially for Level 2 students.
Attendance & Refund Policy
We expect students to attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time to make the most of their learning experience.
You are allowed up to two excused absences (with valid reason and prior notice).
If you miss more than two classes, you will not be eligible for a refund.
The $25 registration fee will be fully refunded at the end of the workshop for Concordia Graduate Students who meet the attendance requirement.
