Through the Canada Summer Jobs program, we had the privilege of welcoming an incredible group of interns to the Face à Face family. Each of them brought their own unique talents, creativity, compassion, and enthusiasm, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and throughout our community centre.
From supporting frontline services and community outreach to creating engaging social media content, organizing activities, and lending a helping hand wherever it was needed, they embraced every opportunity with professionalism, kindness, empathy and dedication.
It isn’t every day that you come across so many talented and inspiring young people. Their fresh ideas, positive energy, and commitment to serving our community have strengthened our team and reminded us of the power of investing in the next generation.
To our Canada Summer Jobs interns: thank you for your hard work, your passion, and the lasting impact you’ve made. You will always have a place in the Face à Face family, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish in the future. ❤️

We recently had the opportunity to visit L’Abri d’Espoir and connect with their intervention team to share housing resources available across Montreal.

It was a great opportunity to present the services offered by Face à Face, exchange knowledge on different housing pathways, and strengthen collaboration between organizations working toward the same goal.

Nous avons récemment eu le plaisir de visiter L’Abri d’Espoir afin d’échanger avec leur équipe d’intervention sur les ressources en logement disponibles à Montréal.

Cette rencontre a été une belle occasion de présenter les services offerts par Face à Face, de partager nos connaissances sur les différents parcours en logement et de renforcer la collaboration entre organismes qui travaillent vers un même objectif.

Behind every conversation, every referral, and every moment of support is a volunteer who chose to make a difference.

This year, 159 dedicated volunteers contributed an incredible 6,518 hours of service, helping Face à Face provide active listening, housing support, referrals, counselling, mail reception, outreach initiatives, and so much more.

While these numbers are inspiring, they only tell part of the story. Behind every hour is a person who offered compassion, created meaningful connections, and reminded someone that they are not alone.

To every member of our volunteer community—thank you. Your generosity, empathy, and commitment are at the heart of everything we do. Together, you continue to make our community stronger, one connection at a time. 🧡
