LIGHT THE WORLD: MORE THAN A DONATION

Behind every Giving Machine is a mission rooted in love, compassion, and community.

The Light the World Giving Machine initiative helps create meaningful giving experiences while supporting nonprofit organizations and bringing
communities together.

It’s an invitation to look beyond ourselves and discover the joy that comes from serving others.

Together, we can share light, inspire generosity, and strengthen our communities.

LET’S TALK ABOUT GIVING!

Giving doesn’t always mean spending money.

Sometimes it’s sharing your time, helping a neighbour, listening to someone who needs a friend, or simply making another person smile.

Every act of kindness has meaning.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

What does giving mean to you?
Share your answer in the comments and inspire someone else today!

Sometimes, making a difference begins with one simple act of kindness.

The Light the World Giving Machine initiative is about more than giving.

It’s about bringing communities together, supporting charitable
organizations, and sharing love through meaningful acts of service.

As we prepare for another season of giving, we invite you to follow along and discover how we can make a difference together.

Because even the smallest act of kindness can inspire something extraordinary.

Imagine walking up to a vending machine… but instead of buying something for yourself, you choose something that can help someone else.

That’s the idea behind the Light the World Giving Machines.
Through the Giving Machines, you can choose meaningful items provided by participating local and global charitable organizations — things like food, clothing, school supplies, livestock, hygiene items, and other necessities.

You simply choose an item. Tap or scan your card. Make your donation.
A card representing your gift drops into the machine, symbolizing the gift being given to someone in need.

And one of the most beautiful parts? 100% of your donation goes to the participating charitable organization connected to the item you selected.

The Giving Machine initiative makes giving simple, interactive, and meaningful. It reminds us that even one small act of generosity can help Light the World. ❤️

This Christmas season, we invite you to learn more, visit a Giving Machine, and discover how easy it can be to make a difference.
Give a little. Love a lot. Light the World.

340 boxes of food. 300 passionate volunteers. 2 unforgettable days.

The 15th Annual H.O.P.E. Food Drive in LaSalle was a resounding success, and we're still in awe of the incredible outpouring of support!

Over this past weekend, our community came together in full force to ensure that local families have access to the essential supplies and warm meals they need in the months ahead.

Reaching a 15-year milestone is no small feat, and it only happens when neighbours look out for neighbours. We are beyond proud of the positive impact H.O.P.E. Food Bank continues to make in our community, especially as they are one of our featured local charities for the 3rd year in the 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞ⵑ 💡❤️

To the 300+ volunteers who gave their time and energy: you are the heart of this amazing work. To everyone who dropped off donations: your kindness fuels those in need. Thank you for showing up, giving back, and proving once again how strong LaSalle is when we work together!

Here’s a post-Valentine’s Day reminder:
Valentine’s Day reminds us that love is action.
Not just on February 14.
Not just when the Giving Machines are here.
But every day - through generosity, kindness, and care for those who need it most. ❤️
What does love look like to you?

✨ Because of you, real needs were met. ✨
This past Giving Machine season, our community came together to turn generosity into action. Thanks to you, 2031 items were donated, supporting 7 charities and helping individuals and families when it mattered most.

Every item represented care, dignity, and hope — and it wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible community. 💖
