Looks like fun - an project at Carlyle School with Emily Read!

"The visit by Emily Read, supported through the Artist Inspire Grant, was a highly positive experience that enriched the Grade 6 Exhibition under the theme "Sharing the Planet." The collaborative nature of the project stood out, as all students contributed to a shared artwork, fostering a strong sense of community and collective responsibility. The artist effectively engaged students and created an inclusive environment that encouraged creativity and expression. Additionally, the project meaningfully connected artistic practice with conceptual understanding, allowing students to explore environmental and social responsibility in a tangible and memorable way."

Class of 2026 mural at Jules Verne Elementary School! Students worked with Artist Heather Kushum through to create this piece in their school.

"Heather was very flexible and open. She communicated very clearly and showed the students her approach. She easily connected with the students who were able to express their different points of view which were later transferred into an amazing piece of art."

Fun & Engaging hip hop workshops with Bboyizm Dance Co at Greater Gatineau School, made possible by !

"The workshops with Crazy Smooth and Melly Mel were once again a really positive experience for our students. They have such a strong ability to engage everyone, especially students who do not always connect in other settings, and that really stood out. Students had a lot of fun, and it was great to see some of them truly thrive and build confidence through movement. They created a safe and supportive environment while teaching the foundations of B-boying. Their energy and connection with students are a big reason why we keep inviting them back!"

Students at Kiluutaq school had the privilege of participating in musical workshops with Artist Geremia Lorenzo Lodi Intuitionbodymusic !

"I highly recommend Geremia, his work is both engaging and impactful, and many may not yet be familiar with how powerful body percussion can be in a classroom setting. He delivered a captivating performance for students in Grades 3 to 6, weaving a fable together with live flute and body percussion, which immediately drew the students in. Through his combination of storytelling and hands-on rhythm work, he creates an experience that is creative, inclusive, and deeply confidence-building for students. Over the three-day workshop, I saw students become more expressive, collaborative, and sure of themselves. We would absolutely welcome him back to our class." -Francesca Johnson. Grade 5/6 Teacher

A unique type of workshop: engaging different senses in art-making, include scent, with Aroma Jockey Jarome at Philip E. Layton School!

"Students had a chance to explore the arts with each sense (there were over 15 senses) and interpret their own senses before making art with the senses (rolling scented roller and a huge canvas art, and scented papers); each received a little gift supply of do-it-yourself, after the workshop, which each student were thrilled to take hom, in addition to their made craft!"

What an awesome unique experience! can bring experiences like this into any English public Elementary or Secondary school.
