Na'amat Canada is a registered nonprofit dedicated to empowering women & children in Israel & Canada "I'm new to the city and I'm looking to make some friends."

If you want to be a part of a sorority, a sisterhood, a club, a family, a network of inspiring women, or even if you just want a girl's night out – Na'amat Canada has what you are looking for. We’re getting ready for a very special day!

With generous support from Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink, through the Rogers Charity Classic, Na’amat Canada Calgary will be packing backpacks filled with school supplies for children staying in domestic violence and homeless shelters throughout Calgary and Southern Alberta.

The massive piles of school supplies have been counted, sorted and organized, and everything is ready for our volunteers to start packing on August 30!

We are so grateful to Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink for helping make our School Supplies for Kids program possible, and to all of our generous donors, supporters and volunteers who help us ensure that children in our community have the supplies they need.

For the past two years, Na’amat Israel’s My Sister’s Keeper initiative has been helping communities recognize the warning signs of domestic abuse and respond with care.

Through interactive workshops, real-life scenarios, and practical tools, participants learn how to identify signs of abuse, offer support, and take action when it matters most.

Because someone in our community may be experiencing abuse without anyone knowing. A colleague. A neighbour. A friend. A family member.

Together, we are building communities where more people are equipped to recognize, respond, and help. Because one informed person can make all the difference.

Meet Club Aviva 💙

Club Aviva is a vibrant community of women aged 60+ who come together every few weeks to connect, learn, and enjoy each other's company, both in person and online.

From inspiring guest speakers to engaging discussions on arts, health, community, and current events, every gathering offers something new. Alongside their meaningful programming, members also support Na'amat through special fundraising initiatives, including the annual Mah Jongg card sale.
