Volunteers Needed!

After years of trying without success, we have been invited to participate in this year's RibFest! Running from August 15-17, this is a great opportunity to increase our visibility in the community and raise much needed funds for the Branch. We will be selling merchandise, accepting donations, serving beer, and (along with On Rock and others) we will be beneficiaries of this yearly fundraising event. This is an incredible opportunity for us!

Volunteers are needed for this three-day event! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts available. Not a member. Not a problem.

Our poppy campaign will begin soon. But did you know that:
- Wearing a Poppy is a personal expression of Remembrance
- The Poppy should be worn with respect on the left side, over the heart.
- The Remembrance period, from the last Friday in October until November 11.
- A new poppy should be use every year.

Poppies are always free, The Royal Canadian Legion gratefully accepts donations to the Poppy Fund, which directly supports Canada’s Veterans and their families in need.

We invite everyone across the country to honour and remember Canada’s Veterans by proudly wearing this symbol of Remembrance and taking a moment to reflect.

Our Branch will be distributing Poppies in this period of Remembrance. Feel free to ask where you should find yours!
