BANAL - at the Consulate General of Mexico’s Espacio Mexico gallery on 2055 Peel Street (a stone’s throw away from McGill and Concordia campus) is hosting an exhibition. See attached and here for more info: https://banalart.info .

The collective includes former grad students, current grad students and current professors from Concordia and McGill.

Our debut album Diplomacia Oscura (Live in Mexico City 2024) is now available for streaming (links to band camp and Spotify are on our site).

The exhibition is open from Monday to Thursday 2pm-5pm and we are having a 6-hour long durational musical and art-rock performance at Espacio Mexico on Nuit Blanche - Feb 28 - from 6pm to midnight.

Dr. Vivek Venkatesh is doing some guided tours of the space for McGill-based undergraduate Education classes (Feb 9 @ 10h30 and Feb 10 @ 16h00) at the space and he is happy to welcome us Concordia students to those public pedagogical moments should you wish.

Else, hope you can visit the exhibition and maybe I’ll see you on Feb 28.
