THE AGBU ALEX MANOOGIAN HIGH SCHOOL WILL BE HOUSED IN A NEW BUILDING
It is with immense joy and great pride that we announce to our community that the AGBU Alex Manoogian High School will be housed in a new building.
After several years of sustained effort, vision, and planning, September 2026 will mark a historic and unprecedented milestone for our school, as we will welcome, for the very first time, a graduating Secondary 5 class (11th grade), thereby completing our full secondary school program.
This agreement, signed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, between the AGBU Alex Manoogian School Corporation and the HCGM, will allow our students to grow and learn in a spacious and well-adapted environment of more than 10,000 square feet.
The new building (275 Houde Street), located a very short distance from the school, will welcome our secondary students and become a place of educational and community growth. It represents an important new step in continuing our mission of transmitting the Armenian language and culture to future generations.
Thus, a dream carried for several decades is now becoming a concrete reality for our community.
We extend our sincerest congratulations to the entire Armenian community of Greater Montreal for this important achievement in service of Armenian education.
We also express our deep gratitude to the AGBU Central Board for its constant support, trust, and commitment to our school throughout the years.
Finally, we warmly thank all those who believe in the mission of the Alex Manoogian School, as well as our generous benefactors, whose valuable support allows our institution to continue to grow and flourish.
