We’re extremely late in posting this, but Happy New year everyone!!! We hope your 2026 is off to a good start ! 💪

Thank you for following and supporting us since our beginnings 🙌 We’re grateful for each of you!

A look back at our year,

Even though we have been on hiatus for many months in 2025, the Lord God has been very much active in our community and personal lives. The Cross collective members became more than a community of christian creatives and artists, but we’re family and we still found time to be there for one another and celebrate our projects and successes, and help one another grow towards the goal the Lord has set for each of us.

The Lord makes all things beautiful and leads us to trust Him in the days of small beginnings. Our society and culture put so much emphasis on rushing things, but taking the time to do everything at the Lord’s pace always looks different than we imagine.

We ended last year with our Christmas celebration in December ! We had a small attendance, but the Lord still showed up and we were all blessed!

We had the opportunity to share together, pray, worship and hear from our creatives about their growth and challenges in the last year.

🎙️🎹 shared about her songwriting process and how she had been pushed out of her comfort zone to improve in her craft. She also shared her new song ‘Intentional’.

🎸🎺 got to share about what he has learned throughout the year, as he went on to finish projects. We also had the opportunity to hear his new songs ‘So Easy’ and ‘Show Up’

Merry Christmas to all !!! May the Lord God bless you abundantly!

Glory to God and let us continue to give Him thanks! Let us remember the greatest gift, our King Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

'There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord . And his delight shall be in the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. Gloire à Dieu et continuons à le remercier pour tout! Rappelons-nous en ce temps du plus merveilleux des cadeaux, notre Roi Jésus Christ, le Prince de Paix.

' Alors un rameau sortira du tronc de Jessé, un rejeton de ses racines sera fécond. Le souffle du Seigneur reposera sur lui : souffle de sagesse et d'intelligence, souffle de conseil et de vaillance, souffle de connaissance et de crainte du Seigneur . Il respirera la crainte du Seigneur ; il ne jugera pas sur l'apparence, il n'arbitrera pas sur un ouï-dire. Il jugera les pauvres avec justice, il arbitrera avec droiture en faveur des affligés du pays ; il frappera la terre du sceptre de sa bouche, et du souffle de ses lèvres il fera mourir le méchant. La justice sera la ceinture de ses reins, et la probité, la ceinture de ses hanches. Le loup séjournera avec le mouton, la panthère se couchera avec le chevreau ; le taurillon, le jeune lion et les bêtes grasses seront ensemble, et un petit garçon les conduira. La vache et l'ourse auront un même pâturage, leurs petits une même couche ; le lion, comme le bœuf, mangera de la paille. Le nourrisson s'ébattra sur l'antre de la vipère, et l'enfant sevré mettra sa main dans le trou de l'aspic. Il ne se fera aucun mal, il n'y aura aucune destruction, dans toute ma montagne sacrée ; car la connaissance du Seigneur remplira la terre comme les eaux recouvrent la mer. En ce jour-là, la racine de Jessé se tiendra là comme une bannière pour les peuples ; les nations la chercheront, et son lieu de repos sera glorieux. '

We are back just in time to finish the year celebrating the Lord God !

Though our activities have been on hold these past months. Our community continued to be active in collaborating, celebrating each other’s wins, sharing the heart of God even through failures, edifying one another and offering support as we seek to grow in the likeness of Christ.

The main way we offer our worship unto God, is through our daily lives, not only through music, art and creativity. Which is why at the Cross Collective, we value being in communion with the triune God and one another, above anything we can create.

'Come and see the works of God, He is awesome in His deeds toward the children of men. '

Nous sommes de retour juste à temps pour célébrer le Seigneur Dieu !

Nos activités ont été en pause ces derniers mois, mais notre communauté est restée active. Nous avons continué à collaborer, célébrer nos réussites, partager le cœur de Dieu même à travers nos échecs, s’édifier mutuellement et offrir du soutien tout en cherchant à ressembler de plus en plus à Christ.

Nous adorons Dieu principalement à travers notre vie quotidienne, que nous lui offrons, et non seulement par l’entremise de la musique, l'art et la créativité. C'est pourquoi, au sein du Collectif de la Croix, nous valorisons avant tout la communion avec le Dieu trois fois saint, ainsi qu’avec les uns et les autres, au delà de tout ce que nous pouvons créer.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 🎉

This week as we looked back at the Cross Collective first year, we are truly grateful and thank the Lord God, as we recognize that success comes from Him alone 🙌

First and foremost, we thank our Lord Jesus Christ who has made the birth and continuing growth of this project possible. We would like to thank all our volunteers, who contributed their time and efforts to help us shape this vision and ensure that our events went smoothly.

To God be the glory alone!!!! 🙏Thank you Jesus Christ our King! 👑

“When anyone tries to undertake a project of any kind, it can start with a vision that is not always complete and clear at first. Yet, as we take each step forward more pieces come about to complete our understanding of that vision, what it involves, what we should do we it and where to take it.

As our community ended 2024 with a full and grateful heart, we are excited to see how the Lord will continue to define and shape this initiative, which is His ministry.

My prayer for the Cross Collective is that it would not solely be a place for christian artist and creatives to find community, grow and develop in their artistes, as well as network, but that each of us may grow in knowing Christ better and let God continually work His good purpose and work in us, through His Holy Spirit.

May our prayer and motive always be this ➡️“I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus” ~ Philippians 3:14

That we may shine, no matter where the Lord gives us a platform, for His glory alone.

Cette semaine, alors que nous avons survolé la première année du Collectif de la Croix, nous sommes sincèrement reconnaissants et remercions le Seigneur Dieu, car nous reconnaissons que le succès vient de Lui seul 🙌

Nous remercions avant tout notre Seigneur Jésus Christ qui a rendu possible la naissance et la croissance continue de ce projet. Nous tenons à remercier chacun(e)s de nos bénévoles, qui ont consacré leur temps et leurs efforts pour nous aider à façonner cette vision et garantir le bon déroulement de nos événements.

« Lorsque qu’une personne tente d’entreprendre un projet, quel qu’il soit, cela peut commencer avec une vision qui n’est pas toujours complète et claire au premier abord. Pourtant, à mesure que nous progressons, de nouveaux éléments apparaissent pour compléter notre compréhension de cette vision, de ce qu'elle implique, de ce que nous devrions faire et où la mener.

Alors que notre communauté a terminé 2024 avec un cœur comblé et reconnaissant, nous avons hâte de voir comment le Seigneur continuera de définir et façonner cette initiative, qui est son ministère.

Ma prière pour le Collectif de la Croix est que ce ne soit pas seulement un lieu où les artistes et les créateur(trace)s chrétien(ne)s peuvent trouver une communauté, grandir et développer dans leur art, ainsi que faire du réseautage, mais que chacun de nous puisse mieux connaître Christ et laisser Dieu travailler continuellement son dessein et oeuvre en nous, par son Saint-Esprit.

Que notre prière et notre motivation soient toujours ceci ➡️ 'je cours vers le but, pour remporter le prix de la vocation céleste de Dieu en Jésus-Christ. ' Philippiens 3:14

Afin que nous puissions briller, peu importe où le Seigneur nous mène, pour sa gloire seul.

'Car c’est Dieu lui-même qui agit en vous, pour produire à la fois le vouloir et le faire conformément à son projet bienveillant . ' Philippiens 2:13

Et voilà!!! Nous avons eu notre célébration de Noël et spectacle d'artistes ce samedi dernier 🙌 Nous sommes tellement reconnaissants et rempli de joie !

C'était notre deuxième et dernière soirée Showcase de l'année et nous sommes émerveillés par ce que le Seigneur a fait au cours de ces derniers mois. Nous avons tous fait un pas de foi en nous engageant courageusement dans notre appel. Être vulnérable, voir la croissance et développement, permettre aux autres de venir à nos côtés pour construire quelque chose qui dure, est une si belle chose.

Félicitations 👏👏👏 à tous les artistes et créateur(rice)s qui ont été en prestations 🎶 et présenté leur art 🖼️🎨.

Here we go!!! We had our Christmas celebration & Artist showcase this last Saturday 🙌 We are so grateful and full of joy!!!

This was our second and last showcase of the year and we are amazed by what the Lord has done since these last few months. All of us took a leap of faith as we courageously stepped into our calling. Being vulnerable, seeing growth, allowing others to come alongside you to build something that will last is such a beautiful thing.

Notre célébration de Noel et spectacle d’artiste est aujourd’hui!!!! 🥁

On a tellement hâte ! 🙌

Mais avant ça, on a une dernière artiste à vous présenter 👀

Chioma Emeakama

Née et ayant grandit au Nigéria. Créative depuis son enfance, l'art a aidée Chioma à s'exprimer au fil des années. Elle a exploré l’arts visuel, la photographie, l'animation et bien plus encore.

Elle a découvert son intérêt pour l'enseignement à l’école secondaire, après avoir réalisé à quel point elle pouvait aider les gens à comprendre des concepts divers et variés.

De plus, sachant que nous sommes créée à l'image de Dieu, elle a l'intention d'amener les autres à comprendre à quel point ils sont beaux et précieux, indépendamment de leur origine et de leurs différences individuelles !

Utiliser l'art pour montrer la personne de Dieu (en tant que Créateur, un Créateur intentionnel)
