exChange is an initiative whose aim is to break isolation and promote dialogue in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke english-speaking 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, organisations, and peoples, with a focus on intergenerational work. This work is done by creating events that focus on the development of relationships through multimodal dialogue and the exchange of knowledge, with a focus on intergenerational work.

We are delighted to share some exciting news with you!

One of our co-founders, Melissa Ledo has reached an important milestone in her PhD journey, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate her hard work and PhD exhibition:
Queering the River of Life: Group Art Show & Research Dissemination Event.

We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating this special occasion at the exhibition opening. It would mean so much to have members of our community there to recognize and support her remarkable achievement.
This free event will take place on
Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 p.m.
at Espace Transmission
5435 Av. des Érables
Montréal / Tiohtià:ke, H2H 2E8
With a special performance by Naman Cale

The evening will also feature an art sale and artistic performances, and light hors d’oeuvres.
We hope you can join Melissa in celebrating this important milestone in her PhD journey.
