Concours international d'orgue du Canada - CIOC

JEUDI 22 OCTOBRE : Alma Bettencourt, lauréate du troisième prix de l’édition 2024 et du Prix Gaston-Litaize, se produira pour la première fois à Montréal depuis sa brillante prestation lors du concours de 2024.

Elle sera accompagnée de William Fielding, un jeune organiste qui fait parler de lui en France. Il est actuellement organiste adjoint à la basilique Saint-Sernin de Toulouse et a récemment remporté le premier prix du Concours de musique ARD en 2026.

Un orgue de renom, à quatre mains.

THURSDAY OCT 22: Alma Bettencourt, 2024's Third Prize winner and winner of the Gaston-Litaize Prize, will be performing for the first time in Montréal since her stellar showing at the 2024 competition.

With her is William Fielding, a young organist making waves in France. He is currently assistant organist at the basilique Saint-Sernin in Toulouse, and recently took First Prize at the ARD Music Competition in 2026.

One renowned organ, four hands.

18 octobre, 14 h : Inauguration de l’orgue de Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu avec l’organiste Jean-Willy Kunz (Église de Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu)

18 octobre, 15 h : Le Festival des couleurs de l’orgue français présente Marie-Hélène Greffard (Salle Redpath, Montréal)

22 octobre, 19 h 30 : Alma Bettencourt et William Fielding, orgue à quatre mains ; une coproduction avec la Société des orgues de Maisonneuve (Église du Très-Saint-Nom-de-Jésus, Montréal)

23 octobre, 19 h 30 : Souffles d’Albion ; une coproduction avec le Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, organiste Mária Budáčová (Église Ascension of Our Lord, Westmount)

La nouvelle génération d'organistes est là.

Vous êtes invités dans l'espace exclusif du jubé d'orgue pour un concert intimiste et en toute proximité avec les étoiles montantes les plus prometteuses du monde de l'orgue.

Théo Curras : récemment nommé organiste co-titulaire de la basilique-cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde de Montréal, il est l’auteur d’une nouvelle œuvre pour orgue, commandée par le CIOC, qui sera créée lors de ce concert.

COMTESSA : médiéval, mystique, musical. Explorez l’univers du XIVe siècle à travers la voix et l’organetto, et laissez-vous transporter dans le temps et l’espace.

Maria Gajraj : figurant parmi les « 30 musicien.ne.s classiques de moins de 30 ans » de la CBC en 2026, Maria Gajraj enveloppe le jubé d’un set onirique et méditatif mêlant orgue et électronique.
