Generation's Legacy

Dearest friends from around the world,

Recently I helped my community host a ''Human Rights Award'' ceremony, where I met a very interesting Senator from Ottawa, Senator Ngo. We discussed politics, martial arts, and then i'm not too sure how, he put me in charge of a very special event : The ''Gen Gap Fundraiser'', to bridge the slowly departing first generation of Vietnamese in Canada, and our generation...

It will be a fun event, with 3 parts :

1. (photography, short film, music, dance, martial arts). An excellent occasion to showcase talent, as well as networking among younger people.

2. Senator's awards to excellence among youth leaders (federal certificate , Senator seal). If you are that person, or know who might be fit to receive this award : please put them in contact with me.

3. Senator's awards to excellence among older leaders : These people could be our parents, our teachers, someone we deeply admire for the sacrifices they've made to promote our Vietnamese culture by teaching us. Event is confirmed for :
SUNDAY May 12th 2013, 5:30pm to 9pm
at the Salle Brébeuf (Auditorium of College Jean-De-Brébeuf). If you would like to participate, either as an artist, a speaker, a candidate, a sponsor, or by refering us someone exceptional, please contact me :

Facebook, or email : [email protected], or text to 514 949 5989...

This is an unprecedented event for our community...
