About Us

Concordia Humanitarian Initiative Project (CHIP) was founded in 2018 as an extension of Concordia Model United Nations (ConMUN) as a way for Concordian students to combine their love of political studies with a need for change in the world.

With a focus on charitable and philanthropic missions, CHIP acts as a platform to engage and inform students interested in volunteering, connect existing charities, non-profits and associations to one another, and helps developing Concordia clubs in reaching new audiences and goals.

Through closely working with charitable associations and clubs, CHIP and said associations will identify sustainable goals and a partnership that would function for both parties. CHIP can assist with fundraising events, connecting clubs with volunteers necessary for the success of an event/project, and help small non-profits become introduced to the Concordia communities.
