60ESIMO ANNIVERSARIO –
RISERVATE LA DATA – SAVE THE DATE
Cari Paesani,
Come molti di voi già sapranno, quest’anno celebriamo il 60° anniversario della fondazione della nostra Associazione. Nata nel 1966 grazie ai nostri genitori e ai nostri nonni che, giunti in un Paese straniero, sentirono il bisogno di mantenere vive le proprie radici, le tradizioni e i valori della nostra terra, affinché potessero essere tramandati ai figli e ai nipoti. Da questo desiderio nacque la nostra Associazione.
Quest’anno riprenderemo anche la campagna di tesseramento, sospesa dal 2020 a causa della pandemia. La quota associativa è di 20,00 $ per famiglia e vi invitiamo calorosamente a rinnovare la vostra iscrizione. I membri del nostro comitato vi contatteranno per concordare la consegna della tessera; in alternativa, potrete contattarci direttamente.
Per celebrare questo importante traguardo, nel mese di maggio abbiamo organizzato un viaggio a Vinchiaturo. Insieme ai nostri compaesani di Toronto, New York e Argentina, siamo tornati nella nostra terra natia per partecipare ai festeggiamenti in onore del nostro Santo Patrono, San Bernardino da Siena. Le iniziative organizzate dal Comune durante tutta la settimana sono state straordinarie, ma ciò che porteremo per sempre nel cuore è stata l’emozione di ritornare alle nostre origini: un’esperienza indescrivibile.
Vi chiediamo fin d’ora di riservare in agenda le seguenti date.
23 AGOSTO 2026 – PICNIC ANNUALE
Il nostro tradizionale picnic si terrà presso l’Oratorio San Gabriele dell’Addolorata in Ste. Julienne.
Sarà offerto il pranzo e, come sempre, non mancheranno attività e momenti di divertimento per grandi e piccoli. Maggiori dettagli vi saranno comunicati nelle prossime settimane.
Vi invitiamo a partecipare con tutta la famiglia per trascorrere insieme una piacevole giornata, ritrovare amici e compaesani che magari non vedete da tempo e rafforzare quel senso di appartenenza che da sessant’anni ci unisce.
Lo scorso anno hanno partecipato 275 persone e tutti hanno trascorso una splendida giornata. Trattandosi di un anniversario così importante, ci auguriamo di accogliere ancora più partecipanti quest’anno.
24 OTTOBRE 2026 – GALA DEL 60° ANNIVERSARIO
La Gala del 60° Anniversario si terrà presso Le Rizz.
Vi invitiamo a unirvi a noi per celebrare questo importante traguardo, ricordare le nostre radici e rendere omaggio a tutte le persone che, con il loro impegno e la loro dedizione, hanno contribuito a far crescere la nostra Associazione fino a farla diventare quella che conosciamo oggi.
Seguiranno presto ulteriori dettagli sull’evento.
Come ogni ricorrenza speciale, anche questo anniversario merita di essere ricordato con una pubblicazione commemorativa. Per questo motivo stiamo realizzando il Libro del 60° Anniversario, nel quale desideriamo raccogliere ricordi, fotografie, momenti significativi, celebrazioni e testimonianze che raccontino la storia delle vostre famiglie e della nostra comunità nel corso degli ultimi sessant’anni, oltre a dare spazio agli eventi futuri.
Il volume ospiterà inoltre inserzioni pubblicitarie e messaggi di sponsor, il cui contributo sarà fondamentale per sostenere i costi dell’organizzazione del Gala.
In allegato troverete la lettera informativa con l’indicazione delle diverse opzioni e dei relativi costi per l’acquisto di pagine o spazi pubblicitari all’interno della pubblicazione.
Vi invitiamo a prenderne visione e a comunicarci entro il 31 luglio 2026 lo spazio che desiderate riservare. Il materiale grafico potrà essere inviato entro il 31 agosto 2026.
Il libro sarà distribuito dopo la Gala, così da poter includere anche le fotografie della serata.
Il nostro 50° anniversario è stato un grande successo e siamo certi che, con il sostegno e la partecipazione di tutti voi, il 60° anniversario sarà un’occasione ancora più speciale e memorabile.

Dear Friends,
As many of you already know, this year we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of our Association. Established in 1966 by our parents and grandparents who, having arrived in a foreign country, felt the need to keep alive their roots as well as their traditions and values of the homeland so that they could be passed down to their children and grandchildren. On this dream, the Association was born.
This year, we are also resuming our membership drive which was suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic. The membership fee is $20.00 per family and we warmly invite you to renew yours. Our committee Members will contact you to arrange for the delivery of your membership card; alternatively, you may contact us directly.
To celebrate this important milestone, we organized a trip to Vinchiaturo in May. Together with fellow paesani from Toronto, New York and Argentina, we returned to our homeland to take part in the festivities honoring our Patron Saint, Saint Bernardino of Siena. The events organized by the municipality throughout the week were extraordinary, but the emotion of returning to our roots was an indescribable experience which we will forever cherish.
We would ask that you please save the dates for the following activities.
AUGUST 23, 2026 – ANNUAL PICNIC
Our traditional picnic will be held at the San Gabriele dell’Addolorata Oratory in Ste. Julienne.
Lunch will be provided and, as always, there will be plenty of activities and fun for both adults and children. Further details will be shared in the coming weeks.
We invite you to join us with your whole family to enjoy a pleasant day together, reconnect with friends and fellow community members you may not have seen in a while and strengthen the sense of belonging that has united us for sixty years.
Last year, 275 people attended and everyone had a wonderful time. As this is such a significant anniversary, we hope to welcome even more participants this year.
OCTOBER 24, 2026 – 60th ANNIVERSARY GALA
The 60th Anniversary Gala will be held at Le Rizz.
We invite you to join us in celebrating this significant milestone, reflecting on our roots, and paying tribute to all those whose commitment and dedication have helped our Association grow into what it is today.
Further details regarding the event will follow soon.
Like any special occasion, this anniversary deserves to be commemorated with a special publication. We are, therefore, publishing a 60th Anniversary Book to gather memories, photographs, significant moments, celebrations and personal stories that chronicle the history of your families and our community over the past sixty years while also highlighting future events.
The volume will also feature advertisements and messages from sponsors; their contributions will be vital in covering the costs of organizing the Gala.
Attached is an information letter outlining the various options and costs for purchasing advertising space within the publication.
We invite you to review the details and let us know by July 31, 2026, which space you wish to reserve. Artwork and graphic materials may be submitted by August 31, 2026.
The book will be distributed after the Gala so that photographs from the evening can be included.
Our 50th anniversary was a great success and we are certain that, with the support and participation of all, the 60th anniversary will be an even more special and memorable occasion.
