Montreal-based contemporary ice-skating company Le Patin Libre uses ice, skates, and glide as media, transforming their athleticism into a mean of free expression.

Their newest work "Melt" addresses one of the most urgent issues of our time—climate change. The piece takes us on a surreal journey into a post-apocalyptic world where ice, music, and civilization no longer exists.

Accompanied by a musician, the duo of roller skaters takes to theater stages for the first time and seizes the opportunity to bring an intimacy impossible and eccentricity impossible in ice rinks
