In July President Elect Brent attended the World Oratorical Contest in St. Louis. What an amazing experience! Congratulations to all the speakers

President Denise and President Elect Brent had the opportunity to get a private tour of the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium thanks to OIF President Fatima Plater and her son-in-law Marcus Pollard. It was an amazing experience!

The CCOF Board met Marcus and Amani Pollard at the donor reception. Marcus is Director of Player Engagement with the Jacksonville Jaguars and he provided a signed jersey and football to auction off. All proceeds are going to the JOI Summit! Thank you to Marcus and Amani!!!!

Last week President Denise attended the Oakville Optimist Don MacDonald Youth Appreciation Awards. These awards are brought to you courtesy of the outsourcing program with CCOF.

Last week President Denise was on hand to accept a donation from Distinct AI, to fund the Blake Pierce Memorial Trade Scholarship. This scholarship named for Distinct AI Founders Chris and Derek Pierce's father will provide important funds and mentoring for youth going into the trades in Arnprior. Members of the Optimist Club of Arnprior were also in attendance. Thank you to Distinct AI and the Optimist Club of Arnprior

The Fergus-Wellington Optimist Club received a Spread Relief Grant to help Scarlet. Scarlet has Rett Syndrome and the grant will help the family upgrade Scarlet's Communicaton System. Do you have someone in your community who needs support? The next Spread Relief Grant deadline is May 31st.

President Denise received the Key to the City of Burlington from Mayor Marianne Meed Ward. The honours individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the community. It was a great honour to be included among the other amazing recipient
