Our mission is to empower kids to learn and grow through creativity, socialization,education, and by connecting them to their communities, all while equipping them with the tools they need to be lifelong learners.. The Montreal Children's Library (MCL), a non-profit institution, has been providing free public library service for over 90 years. Our library serves the unique needs of its community a
nd enriches the lives of hundreds of children. We offer free library services to children and their families in an area of Montreal where no municipal libraries exist. Our Zoom Sparks program is a weekly gathering of parents and children who come together to learn and share the joys of nursery rhymes, songs and stories. Library membership is free as are all our programs. We are the only bilingual (French/English) Library in Montreal. CRA # 107718793RR0001

Notre mission consiste à donner aux enfants le pouvoir d’apprendre et de grandir grâce à la créativité, à la socialisation, à l'éducation et à l'établissement de liens avec leur communauté, tout en leur fournissant les outils dont ils ont besoin pour se développer dans la vie. Notre bibliothèque sert les besoins spécifiques de la communauté dans laquelle elle est située et enrichit le quotidien de centaines de jeunes montréalais. Notre programme Les Étincelles sur Zoom propose une série de rencontres hebdomadaires durant lesquelles les parents et leurs tout-petits apprennent et partagent comptines, contes et plus encore. L'abonnement à la bibliothèque est gratuit et donne accès à une importante collection de livres ainsi qu'à plusieurs activités et services.
