Depuis sa fondation en 1989 par le chorégraphe, interprète et metteur en scène Pierre-Paul Savoie, la compagnie PPS Danse s’est donnée pour mission de se consacrer principalement à la création et à la production d’œuvres chorégraphiques s’inscrivant dans le champ de l’interdisciplinarité. Avec les années, la compagnie a ajouté l’action culturelle à ses activités. Aujourd’hui, en investissant les trois créneaux majeurs que sont le jeune public, le grand public et l’action culturelle, PPS Danse assure sa position de pilier dans la communauté de la danse au Québec.

Since it was founded in 1989 by choreographer, performer and director Pierre-Paul Savoie, PPS Danse’s mission has been to devote itself mainly to the creation and production of choreographic works that are part of the interdisciplinary field. Over the years, the company has added cultural mediation to its activities. Today, by investing in the three major niches of young audiences, the general public and cultural action, PPS Danse ensures its position as a pillar in Quebec’s dance community.
