🎬 Filmabend beim Festival du nouveau cinéma - FNC !
Kommt mit uns am Sonntag, 18. Oktober, zur Vorführung von Fatherland beim 55. Festival du nouveau cinéma! In diesem von der Kritik gefeierten Film von Paweł Pawlikowski (Ida, Cold War – Der Breitengrad der Liebe) gehen Thomas Mann und seine Tochter Erika 1949 auf eine bewegende Reise durch ein zerstörtes, geteiltes Deutschland. Für diesen Film erhielt Pawlikowski dieses Jahr in Cannes den Preis für die beste Regie.
Nach dem Film lassen wir den Abend im McKibbin's Irish Pub bei einem Getränk und einem Gespräch über den Film ausklingen. 🍻

Joignez-vous à nous le dimanche 18 octobre pour la projection de Fatherland au 55e Festival du nouveau cinéma! Ce film de Paweł Pawlikowski (Ida, Cold War) est acclamé par la critique et lui a valu le Prix de la mise en scène à Cannes cette année. On y suit Thomas Mann et sa fille Erika, qui entreprennent en 1949 un voyage bouleversant à travers une Allemagne en ruines et divisée.

In this critically acclaimed film by Paweł Pawlikowski (Ida, Cold War), which earned him the Best Director award at Cannes this year, Thomas Mann and his daughter Erika set out on an emotional road trip across a divided, war-torn Germany in 1949.
