The McGill Pre-Law Students' Society is a student group of the SSMU (Students' Society of McGill University) who provide invaluable law-related opportunities to our members. We offer resources like speakers, seminars, and online information to guide our members through the decision about whether or not law school is the right fit for them and what kind of law they might be interested in. We support our members as they navigate their law school application process.

We’re excited to connect McGill undergraduates interested in law with current law students and legal professionals for one-on-one guidance throughout the year.

Through this program, mentees can gain support with:
• Law school applications & personal statements
• LSAT prep
• Exploring legal careers
• Navigating the realities of law school and legal work
• Building confidence and finding community

How it works:
1. Fill out the application form
2. Get matched with a mentor based on your goals and interests
3. Meet throughout the semester + attend exclusive MPLSS mentorship events and Q&As

The McGill Undergraduate Law Review is now accepting submissions and hiring associate editors for 2025/2026!

Associate Editors assume the responsibility of editing and perfecting one of the selected Review articles in collaboration with its author.

The deadline for applications is October 15th, 2025 at 11:59 PM E.S.T. Subsequent interviews will be conducted either online or in-person during the ensuing weeks.

We extend an invitation to all individuals from any educational background and institution, other than Law/JD/BCL, to submit their work to the Review. Accepted articles will undergo a collaborative and rewarding editing process, as authors work closely with editors to prepare their work for publication. Each article will then be published as part of the McGill Undergraduate Law Review Research Paper Series on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN).
