La semaine dernière, nous avons eu le plaisir de participer à une marche guidée avec Côte-des-Neiges, explorant l’histoire du logement social, les luttes communautaires, la gentrification et l’avenir du site de l’ancien Hippodrome. 🏘️🌿
Au cours de la marche, nous avons parlé avec les participant·e·s sur l’importance d’intégrer la nature dans nos quartiers et dans les futurs projets d’habitation. Au Corridor écologique Darlington, nous croyons que le logement, la biodiversité et la communauté font partie d’une même vision.
En reliant les espaces verts et en créant des occasions pour les gens de se rapprocher de la nature, nous pouvons contribuer à bâtir des quartiers où les humains et la faune peuvent s’épanouir. 💚

Last week, we joined OEIL Côte-des-Neiges for a guided walk exploring the history of social housing, community struggles, gentrification, and the future of the former Hippodrome site. 🏘️🌿
During the walk, we spoke with participants about the importance of integrating nature into neighbourhoods and future housing developments. At the Darlington Ecological Corridor, we believe that housing, biodiversity, and community are all part of the same vision.
By connecting green spaces and creating opportunities for people to engage with nature, we can help build neighbourhoods where both people and wildlife can thrive. 💚
