The Einick Gitelman Fund

The Einick Gitelman Fund helps young boys and girls hit the ice by subsidizing expenses and helping to make the sport more accessible to families in need.

As well as supoorting our local Ndg Food depot with yearly donations and food drive support Einick Gitelman was a remarkable man, who left a huge imprint during his memorable life. He treated a stranger as a friend and a friend as a best friend. A man of many traits and willing to help anyone in need; he was most happy when given the opportunity to aid someone. His smile and love of life that he s

hared with everyone he encountered has left us precious memories. Einick was tragically killed on November 11th, 2011. In memory of Einick, the family and his amazing circle of friends have organized the 1st annual Einick Gitelman Hockey Tournament. The object is to raise funds for NDG Minor Hockey in order to help boys / girls who cannot afford hockey equipment or fees to play hockey: the sport that Einick so loved. Einick started playing in NDG Minor hockey at the young age of five in pre-novice, continuing right through to the Hurricanes Midget BB. His love for hockey was rooted in him and he continued playing hockey and coaching throughout his short adult life. We thank you for considering a donation to this special fund in memory of Einick….

This past weekend we hosted our 24th bi-annual pizza party for the kids of NDG Minor Hockey Association ! We had a blast as always and our raffle winners were not disappointed with over 500$ of prizes and gifts won! Thank you to our main sponsors- Orangetheory Fitness , Sport Au Gus and Pneus Gordons , for the continued support , it truly makes all the difference!

Huge thanks to all our volunteers who make it all happen , and special mention for our day 1's
Samantha Turturici and Danny D'Alessandro who have participated in all 24 events as well as pretty much everything else we've ever done!
It's people like you who make it all happen and without you guys it wouldnt be possible so thank you ALL

As per usual we collected non perishables and dropped them by Maison Mosaik and were greeted by the amazing staff over there, we encourage you to visit them and drop off anything at all, as we all know the dire situation when it comes to food insecurity these days.

NDG WE LOVE YOU and feel blessed to be able to be part of such beautiful community !

La fin de semaine dernière, nous avons organisé notre 24e fête de la pizza bisannuelle pour les jeunes de l'Association de hockey mineur de NDG ! Comme toujours, nous avons passé un excellent moment et les gagnants de notre tirage ont été ravis avec plus de 500 $ de prix et de cadeaux à gagner ! Un grand merci à nos principaux commanditaires – Orangetheory Fitness, Sports Au Gus et Pneus Gordons – pour leur soutien indéfectible !

Un immense merci à tous nos bénévoles qui rendent tout cela possible, et une mention spéciale à nos fidèles Samantha Turturici et Danny D'Alessandro, présents depuis le début et qui ont participé à nos 24 événements, ainsi qu'à pratiquement toutes nos autres activités !

C'est grâce à vous tous que rien ne serait possible, alors merci à chacun d'entre vous !

Comme d'habitude, on a ramassé des aliments non périssables et on les a déposés à la Maison Mosaik. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par l'équipe formidable de la résidence. Nous vous encourageons à donner ce que vous pouvez, car nous sommes tous conscients des difficultés d'accès à l'alimentation de nos jours.

NDG, on vous aime et on est ravis de faire partie d'une si belle communauté !

Happy Holidays !!!
Thank you to everyone that showed up last week to volunteer at our annual holiday party for the future all stars of NDG Minor Hockey Association ! Our elves had a blast handing out pizza and goodies, Santa stopped by with Pandy the panda ! Congrats to our raffle winners and thank you to our amazing sponsors- notably Orangetheory Fitness and Ndg institution Sports au Gus .
We also were and will continue to accept non perishable donations through the holidays to bring to Maison Mosaic here in Ndg in support of local food insecurity, feel free to reach out to us for more info

Our semi-annual Holiday celebration for our future little stars was a great success... notre semi-annuel celebrations des fête etait un grand succes.

We also collected some non perishable food to bring to Maison Mosaik as recommended by Le Dépôt / The Depot nous avons aussi ramassez des donations de nourritures pour la Maison Mosaik par la recomondation de Le Food Depot de Ndg

Congratulations to Adrian on winning this awesome gift basket in our raffle today at our annual holiday party for the kids of ndg hockey! And Jeremiah who won Habs tickets as well!
