Enactus McGill Empower youth with social entrepreneurship for positive impact. Like in business, we believe that competition encourages creativity and rewards results.

Enactus is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action. We provide a platform for teams of outstanding university students to create community development projects that put people’s own ingenuity and talents at the center of improving their livelihoods. s take the kind of entrepreneurial approach that empowers people to be a part of their own success. Our work transforms both the lives of the people we serve, and in turn, the lives of our students as they develop into more effective, values-driven leaders. For Enactus, it means more lives impacted. An annual series of regional and national competitions provides a forum for teams to showcase the impact of their outreach efforts and to be evaluated by executives serving as judges. National champion teams advance to the prestigious Enactus World Cup to experience excellence in competition, collaboration and celebration. Enactus McGill is proud to have recently initiated several unique entrepreneurial projects to benefit the Montreal community. MTLocal: A project dedicated to keeping the city’s local business scene alive and well so that Montreal’s essence remains for more people to discover. MTLocal provides exclusive discount codes and access to the city’s local businesses. It launches April 2021. Youth Start: A project aimed at empowering young entrepreneurial students in high school by providing them with resources, advice, and business skills. MealCare: Seeks to eliminate food waste by transporting leftover food from various restaurants, organizations and groups to those who need it. Sustain // Soutenir: Seeks to bring together and recognize green-oriented businesses to support a culture of sustainability and environmental consciousness. Our Story

Enactus McGill is a student-driven social entrepreneurship organization incubating and developing social programs and enterprises. It is part of a 79,000 strong students’ network across 1,700 campuses in 36 different countries, with inter-universities competitions organized on a regional, national and international scale.

Our mission is two-fold:


  • Developing and running entrepreneurial projects to have a long-standing impact on our community. We ensure the durability of these projects through our structure as when team members graduate, new generations of students take over the project.

  • Incubating students’ leadership, entrepreneurship and management skills through hands-on experience and concrete project management.
