Le mécanisme de protection du pouvoir d’achat négocié par le Front commun vient de s'activer officiellement, à la suite de la publication des données de Statistique Canada aujourd’hui, le 20 avril.
✅ L’inflation (IPC Québec) : 2,71 %
Ce chiffre représente la croissance de l’IPC au cours d’une année de convention collective, soit du 1er avril 2025 au 31 mars 2026. Nous utilisons la méthode de la moyenne annuelle de Statistique Canada, assurant ainsi une mesure stable et fiable, identique à celle utilisée pour l'inflation annuelle (janvier à décembre).
✅ L'ajustement sur la paie
Pour s’assurer que nous ne nous appauvrissions pas pendant la durée de la convention collective 🛡️, un ajustement salarial de 0,11 % sera appliqué. Ce montant est rétroactif au 31 mars 2026 afin de combler l’écart accumulé.
✅ L'échéance de versement
Versement par l'employeur au plus t**d le 17 octobre 2026 (180 jours). Un suivi du respect de ces échéances, dans tous les réseaux, sera effectué.

Current instability is undermining our purchasing power and our protected wages
The purchasing power protection mechanism negotiated by the Common Front has now been officially triggered, following the publication of Statistics Canada data today, April 20.
✅ Inflation (Québec CPI): 2.71%
This figure represents the growth of the CPI over one year of the collective agreement, from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. We use Statistics Canada’s annual average method, ensuring a stable and reliable measure, identical to the one used for annual inflation (January to December).
✅ Payroll adjustment
To ensure that we do not lose purchasing power during the term of the collective agreement 🛡️, a salary adjustment of 0.11% will be applied. This amount is retroactive to March 31, 2026, to compensate for the accumulated gap.
✅ Payment deadline
The employer must issue the payment no later than October 17, 2026 (180 days). Monitoring will be carried out across all networks to ensure compliance with these deadlines.
