The Legacy MTL The oldest student run club at Dawson College, est. 1969. We are here to celebrate and promote Afric Since then the club has grown and ventured to new horizons.

The Legacy is the oldest student run club in Dawson College since 1969. First known as Black & 3rd world club,later changed to African Legacy, the club was originally geared towards to unifying black students and celebrating black culture. In 2013, the club name was changed to The Legacy. Our aim is to educate all while providing a positive and safe outlet for people of color. As a club, Our goal

is to expose the student body to the various facets of the prismatic African, and Caribbean culture, history, and entertainment while encouraging cultural diversity and kinship. Having members meet together through a welcoming environment facilitates this movement. We aim at promoting Dawson’s greatest assets- the people, the positivity, the social-networking opportunities, and the greater community that is being fostered. Follow us on:
