This powerful artwork, originally illustrated in Basquiat’s signature Neo- Expressionist style, was designed for his close friends — The Offs, a pioneering punk/ska band of New York’s underground scene. The piece merges raw street energy, symbolic imagery, and Basquiat’s recurring motifs — from crowned skulls to fragmented oilstick lines — the artist repeats the bands name three times in the composition, placing the album’s simple title at the bottom reflecting a transformative era in both art and music.
