📣📣📣We’re excited to announce that, through the Canada Summer Jobs program, Anthony-Vincent Ragusa (student at HEC Montréal) is joining us this summer! Over the next 8 weeks, he’ll be helping us structure and enrich our precious and valuable archival heritage materials so they can better serve students, researchers, and our community. We’re grateful for his contribution and excited to see the progress ahead.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Vice President, Jacques Tozzi. His contributions to the Ordine Figli d’Italia and to the Italian community of Montreal have left a significant and lasting impact. He served with dedication, integrity, and remarkable generosity, embodying the true spirit of volunteerism.
The family will receive relatives and friends at: Pavillon commémoratif Ville-Marie - Complexe Funéraire Magnus Poirier, 6893 Sherbrooke Street East Montreal H1N 1C7 on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at Pavillon commémoratif Ville-Marie, Salle Hommage Saint-Léonard, thence to the burial site at the cemetery Le repos Saint-François d’Assise.

Back in 2025, the Italian Canadian Collective launched a Canada wide survey to better understand today’s Italian community. They’ll be sharing the results this June.

The Italian-Canadian Collective’s mission is to create and promote cultural projects for and about the Italian diaspora of Canada. Our first initiative is a year-long Canada-wide survey to better understand today’s Italian-Canadian community. The survey results will be published in June of 2026.

Nello spirito del Natale ed ancora una volta grazie alla straordinaria generosità del Club COOP PSP, abbiamo avuto il piacere di donare numerosi giocattoli e diversi capi d’abbigliamento alla Chiesa Madonna della Difesa. Questo gesto solidale ci ha permesso di portare un pò di gioia e conforto a famiglie e bambini di varie comunità, contribuendo a rendere le festività più luminose per chi ne aveva maggiormente bisogno.

Dans l’esprit de Noël et une fois de plus grâce à l’extraordinaire générosité du Club COOP PSP, nous avons eu le plaisir de remettre de nombreux jouets ainsi que divers vêtements à l’Église Madonna della Difesa. Ce geste solidaire nous a permis d’apporter un peu de joie et de réconfort à des familles et à des enfants de différentes communautés, contribuant ainsi à rendre les fêtes plus lumineuses pour ceux qui en avaient le plus besoin.

In the spirit of Christmas and once again thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the Club COOP PSP, we had the pleasure of donating numerous toys and various clothing items to the Madonna della Difesa Church. This act of solidarity allowed us to bring a bit of joy and comfort to families and children from various communities, helping make the holiday season brighter for those who needed it most.
