Jesse Plessis est un pianiste et compositeur canadien et membre de la nation métisse de la Colombie-Britannique. Il se produit régulièrement partout au Canada, on l’a entendu sur les scènes d’Angleterre et d’Europe. Ses oeuvres sont interprétées partout au Canada par d’éminents solistes, groupes de chambre et orchestres et diffusé sur CBC Radio. En 2020, il a développé une dystonie focale, une maladie neuromusculaire qui lui a handicapé la main droite. Tout en travaillant à sa récupération, il continue de se produire sur scène, mais se concentre davantage sur la composition et la recherche et entreprend des études doctorales en composition à l’Université McGill grâce à la bourse d’excellence Schulich.

Jesse Plessis is a Canadian pianist and composer, and is a member of the Métis Nation of British Columbia. He performs regularly across Canada, the UK and Europe. His works are commissioned and performed across Canada by prominent soloists, chamber groups, and orchestras, and broadcast on CBC Radio. In 2020 he developed focal dystonia, a neuromuscular condition which disabled his right hand. While working on recovery, he continues to perform, concentrating more on composition and research through composition studies at McGill University, as a Schulich Excellence Scholar.

✨ Originaire de New York, Jacob Niederhoffer est un violoniste classique en pleine ascension et un curateur de concerts. Diplômé de , le Peabody Institute, Banff Festival Academy, Orford Festival et Lucerne Festival Academy, Jacob collabore fréquemment avec les grands orchestres de Montréal, dont et le . En plus de maintenir un studio d’enseignement, il est un arrangeur publié. Depuis 2016, il redonne vie à des œuvres musicales oubliées grâce à son projet “Eugène Ysaÿe”.

Originally from New York, Jacob Niederhoffer is a rising classical violinist and concert curator. A graduate of , the Peabody Institute, Banff Festival Academy, Orford Festival, and Lucerne Festival Academy, Jacob collaborates frequently with major Montreal orchestras, including the and the . In addition to maintaining an active teaching studio, he is a published musical arranger. Since 2016, he has been reviving long-forgotten works through his “Eugène Ysaÿe” project.

En 2020, il a développé une dystonie focale, une maladie neuromusculaire qui lui a handicapé la main droite. Jesse Plessis, a Canadian pianist and composer from the Métis Nation of British Columbia, sees his music regularly commissioned and broadcast across Canada, including by CBC Radio. In 2020, he developed focal dystonia, a neuromuscular disorder that impaired his right hand.
