BOOM. We are 2 days away from our Village au Pied-du-Courant takeover and we’ve decided to split the opening slot between two emerging DJs! 🌴

If you’re a DJ who plays global sounds and who knows how to warm up a crowd, this is for you!

To enter:

1. Post a video of you DJing. The video should showcase your skill and your sound!
2. Tag CLUB SAGACITÉ and Village au Pied-du-Courant
3. Share this and tag your friends in the comments.

You have until 9pm tomorrow night to enter! We’ll be announcing the 2 chosen selectors on Thursday morning - the day of the event.

The two winning DJs will join (CEO of Afro Caribbean enjaillement in LA), Ms Baby (CEO of Montreal), and CSC members and blessing you with their talent with a PDC debut, this Thursday at Village au Pied-du-Courant ⛱️

✶ OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG CREATIVES ✶

We’re sharing this call from McGill’s “Radically Relational Futures Fellowship”, a paid creative research fellowship inviting individuals ages 18–29 to explore decolonial futures, collective wellbeing, and arts-based methods.

They are currently recruiting for four cohorts: ✶ Indigenous individuals
✶ Women musicians
✶ Q***r immigrant individuals
✶ Individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges.

Participants will take part in workshops around Indigenous futurism, q***r futurity, Afrofuturisms, and creative practice, with the opportunity to contribute to an exhibition, documentary, and website.

Each fellow receives $1,000 in compensation for their participation. No previous experience with the creative methods mentioned above is required.

Partial proceeds support Club Sagacité, a 100% non-profit community initiative providing creative resources and space for underrepresented artists in the city.
