15/6/2019 -Commodore Josée Kurtz, RCN assumed command of Standing NATO Group Two, at Souda Bay, Crete replacing Cmdre B. Boots, Royal Netherlands Navy. Cmdre Kurtz is the 1st female to lead the multinational force & 1st woman in RCN to command at fleet level.
