FREE HYBRID EVENT
In-Person Location: Ferrier 216
Zoom Link TBA

Join BSFS for a documentary screening and discussion about Black Wall Street and the 1921 Race Massacre.

An important piece of history that has been neglected by our education system is that of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Join us for a screening of The History Channel's documentary 'Tulsa Burning: The 1921 Race Massacre'. Following the screening, we will be facilitating a discussion about systemic barriers in financial freedom and the legacy of Black Wall Street just over one hundred years after its destruction.

About the Documentary
An in-depth, sobering look at the tragic events of a century ago. Focusing on a specific period, from the birth of Black Wall Street to its catastrophic downfall over the course of two bloody days, and finally the fallout and reconstruction.
