Présent depuis 2007 au Québec, SUPINFO International University développe, via son campus de Montréal, des relations avec les acteurs majeurs de la région. Depuis peu, SIU et des entreprises telles que Microsoft et Cisco se sont rapprochés afin d’aborder ensemble les spécificités du marché IT nord- américain. Alors que les étudiants SUPINFO des campus français sont préparés aux méthodes de recrute
ment européennes, lors de leur arrivée au Canada ils sont rapidement confrontés à des processus nettement différents. En effet, du format des lettres de motivations et CV à l’appréciation des candidats par les entreprises en passant par la multiplicité des langues utilisées, toutes les conditions sont rassemblées pour que l’étudiant français soit déstabilisé. Conscient des difficultés rencontrées, le campus de SUPINFO Montréal a décidé de mettre en place un pôle afin de répondre à ces problématiques ; ainsi le SUPINFO Business Network CANADA a été créé. Created in 2007, SUPINFO International University develops, through its Montreal campus, some strong relationships with the biggest company of the Quebec region. Lately, SIU and some IT giants like Microsoft and Cisco are working together to help the SIU Students getting used to the North American IT market's ways. When the SIU students, directly coming from french campuses, are prepared to the European methods of recruiting, they need some advice to adapt to the Canadian's recruiting process. In fact, CVs and cover letters are different, the behavior has to be adapted, the languages you can use during an interview have to be discussed... Well, everything is gathered to make the french student feeling uncomfortable with the North American practices. Conscious of those difficulties, the SIU Montreal campus decided to create an entity called SUPINFO Business Network CANADA dedicated to provide students with the information and the help they need to adapt and become true Canadian professionals.
