Today, our President, Lion Gulnar, and Lion Shirley proudly hosted our club’s table at the 2026 Montreal Highland Games. Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with friends from many community organizations and clans welcoming numerous visitors to our table, and receiving several distinguished guests, including Mr. Antoine Charest, Quebec Liberal Party candidate for Verdun and Chloé Deraîche, Executive Director of The Trail / Le Sentier

The Montreal Highland Games continue to be a wonderful celebration of Scottish heritage, culture, and community spirit, while bringing together organizations from across Montreal.

Congratulations to Lion Steven Logan, Clans and Community Organizations Director for the Montreal Highland Games, and to the entire organizing committee for another outstanding and successful event. Thank you for your dedication and hard work in making this annual celebration such a memorable occasion.

For more than 30 years (the exact date is unknown), our club has proudly hosted an annual summer BBQ for the residents of Habitation St-Raymond in their backyard. It is a tradition we cherish and remain committed to, and yesterday was yet another wonderful success.

We were also honoured to welcome our special guest, Stéphanie Valenzuela, Mayor of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our members and volunteers for their hard work and dedication in making this event possible 🍔

And a special thank you to Provigo Laurin Montréal Sherbrooke Ouest for their generosity and continued support. Your contribution helps make this cherished tradition possible year after year.

Our club is proud to have international representatives making a difference around the world.

These donated items and more, valued at a total of $600, were delivered to farm workers at Santa Rosa Farm in Uruguay by Lion Elena, a dedicated member of our club, on behalf of the Montreal Central Lions Club.

Our sincere thanks to Lion Elena for her hard work, commitment, and tireless efforts in representing our club and sharing the true spirit and values of Lionism from North America to South America 💛🦁

After the Canada Day Parade, we continued the celebrations at the Royal Canadian Legion, NDG Branch. It was wonderful meeting the members of the Legion and sharing in the Canada Day festivities together 🇨🇦

Today, our club proudly participated in the Canada Day Parade in Montreal West.

Representing the club were President Lion Gulnar, Vice President Lion Guy, Lion Raquel, Lion Abigail, and Lion Ambassador Steven. We were also pleased to represent Clan Logan Canada.

It was a pleasure to meet Anna Gainey, Member of Parliament for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce—Westmount; Désirée McGraw, Member of the National Assembly for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce; and Jonathan Cha, Mayor of Montreal West.

Celebrating our country on this special day is something our club members hold close to their hearts, and we are proud to be part of this wonderful community tradition.

Thank you to the Town of Montreal West for organizing another successful Canada Day Parade and for bringing the community together for such a wonderful celebration.

Yesterday, at the Annual BBQ celebrating the Fête Nationale du Québec, hosted by: Logements Communautaires et Solidaires Grands, NDG Community Council, National Assembly of Quebec, and the Montreal Central Lions Club.
Lions present were: President Lion Gulnar, Vice-President Lion Guy, Lion Raquel, and Lion Abigail.

Also in attendance was Désirée McGraw, Member of the National Assembly for NDG, who joined community members in celebrating this special occasion.

It was a wonderful day of community spirit, friendship, and celebration.
