Rescue All Dogs

Rescue All Dogs Rescue All Dogs (RAD) is a non-profit organization focused on rescuing dogs which have been abused. Originally founded in 2018 by Kim Desautels and Yossi Ohana.

neglected, abandoned, or are scheduled to be euthanized in high kill shelters. Rescue All Dogs (RAD) started as a merchandise store which donated the profits from its sales to fund rescue operations. Over time, it evolved into its own rescue organization which utilizes a volunteer based network of foster homes, veterinarians, and trainers. Dogs which are taken into RAD’s program go through an exte

nsive medical and personality assessment before being prepared for their “furever” homes during the foster phase. Often it involves rehabilitation and training as well. Despite its small personnel footprint, since RAD has started its rescue operations it has had a large geographic footprint by pulling its rescues from around the world. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia and Montreal, Quebec, RAD has regularly rescued dogs not only from Canada, but also from the United States and overseas in the Middle East. Operating without discrimination, RAD’s goal is to rescue at risk dogs regardless of breed, age, or size. In addition to its rescue work, RAD promotes matters that improves the welfare of dogs such as owner education, spay and neutering, and the advocacy of the ethical treatment of animals. Our mission is to work in the hope that this type of work will not be needed in the future. Do good, be RAD!

You guys may remember Jake, aka Mr. Potato who we took into our care this January!

When Jake was seized from a suspected puppy mill he weighed 100 pound, had horrible arthritis and covered in wounds. After his seizure, another group started his rehab and when we took charge of him he was just over 60 pounds. We are happy to report he has lost another 20 pounds!

As the weight was coming off we were noticing masses on him. We removed two tumors, one on his ni**le and one on his toe. We had to amputate the toe but thankfully he doesn’t have cancer.

We are now waiting for him to be seen by the cardiologist as we suspect something may be going on with his heart.

He’s such a gem of a dog and is thriving with his wonderful foster. If you would like or can help us with his medical, please donate below. No amount is too small! Thank you all 💛🙏🐾

Some of our current adoptables have been waiting a VERY long time to have a family to call their own - and we have no idea why they are always overlooked. We are eternally thankful to our monthly donors for helping us keep up with caring for these long term dogs. Costs don’t stop once a dog is safe, and we rely on your continued support to give these dogs everything they need. Please donate monthly if you can, ANY amount helps!

Nakita - Waiting for her over 2 years for her forever home, and has been through 3 different shelters

Susie - With her foster for over 1 month, waiting for her perfect match who is ready to work with her. She’s never had a home and comes from a horrendous situation.

Sister - Has been through hell and back, and has been patiently waiting for 3 months for her home in Canada and waited 3 years in Jamaica before making her way here.

Shadow - Has been in our care for over 2 years, patiently waiting.

Sam - Arrived to us in 2021, watched his sister and mother get adopted, and can’t figure out why he’s still waiting for his turn

Rey - Has been part of RAD for almost her entire life. Adopted, and then tragically lost her everything and has been waiting for a new forever home for over a year since

Please share! These dogs deserve their happy ending 🥹
