We are deeply grateful for the continued support from The Fondation Grace Dart / Grace Dart Foundation
This funding helps make possible our senior-led intergenerational sandwich-making program — a program that has grown into so much more than food preparation. Each week, older adults from across our community come together to make thousands of sandwiches for organizations supporting people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in Montreal.
What began as a volunteer initiative has become a vibrant space for connection, purpose, laughter, music, friendship, and community. Many of our participants are older adults living alone, and the program has become an important place of belonging and meaningful contribution.
Thanks to this continued support, the program continues to grow — creating impact not only through food security, but through reducing isolation, building confidence, and creating opportunities for older adults to lead, contribute, and thrive.
To the Grace Dart Foundation: thank you for believing in this work and for continuing to invest in older adults, community connection, and dignity for all.
Thank you for your trust and partnership.
