The war is still going. Ukrainians are still diying...

In the Chernihiv region north of Kyiv, the village of Desna was hit with Russian missiles Thursday left many dead, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his nightly address on Thursday. Desna is 40 forty miles from the border with Belarus.

❗️Popasna - solid ruins
Russians couldn’t capture it, so they destroyed it

Every day - day and night Popasna is under enemy fire. Positional battles do not stop.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are beating russians, but they are finding more and more "cannon fodder". The whole region of Popasna is filled with russian corpses, which aren’t being collected.

Residents have been living in bomb shelters for more than 50 days. The evacuation is disrupted almost every day due to constant shelling.
Access to the city is difficult.

The situation in the city is reminiscent of Mariupol. Russians operate under one scenario.
With each day they destroy more and more cities of Ukraine.

Over 1,000 civilians has been killed by invaders in the Kiev region - according to the local police.

In the last 24 hours alone, law enforcement officers examined and delivered 48 bodies to morgues. Residents of the region who return home find more dead (https://kyivindependent.com/uncategorized/police-says-over-1000-civilians-killed-by-russian-troops-in-kyiv-oblast/) bodies in basements and wells.

The city of Mariupol "doesn't exist anymore," Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on CBS's Face the Nation.

“The city does not exist” — meaning that the infrastructure is completely destroyed in it.
