Founded by three educators, I Can Dream Theatre is a community-based organization that gives young adults with special needs the opportunity to develop their talents in the area of the performing arts, while at the same time promote commitment, responsibility, self-confidence and friendships in order to enrich the lives of the individuals involved.

From all of us at I Can Dream Theatre, we are heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of Mike Jerrett - one of the members of our backstage crew, and one of our biggest supporters. Not having him around at our show won't be the same.

Rehearsals for “Downton Hillbillies Part II” have been ongoing since early 2026! We’re so looking forward to performing on stage.

We're so excited to announce that our 11th production - Downton Hillbillies Part II - will be performed on stage on Friday, November 20 and Saturday November 21, 2026.
WE HAVE A NEW VENUE! The show will be performed at the Vanier College Theatre! We're so glad to be in this great new space together.
Tickets on sale very soon, so keep your eye out!
(Like the tagline says, no homework required. If you didn't see Part I, it's all good - join us for Part II, no problem!)
We can't wait to see you in November!

10 years (!) today, we premiered The Making of a Dream - our first documentary on our group. The experience of making this film was such a learning experience and we were so thrilled to share it with an audience!

Thanks so much to Jory Gutenplan at JPPS-Bialik for giving us the opportunity this week to speak with the Grade 5 students. Cast members Julie Myhr and Andrew Kuldip joined in and we had a great time!
