Hospice of Southern Kings County

Hospice of Southern Kings County Our association provides respite care for the south eastern area of PEI, Canada.

Hospice of Southern Kings County is a volunteer organization offering compassionate support to individuals and their families who are living with a life-limiting illness, palliative care diagnosis, bereavement or need grief support. When funds permit, we contribute to the purchase of much needed equipment for the palliative care program at Kings County Memorial Hospital. Respite care is provided

free of charge to individuals and families during this difficult time. Volunteers are available to listen, to read aloud, to chat, or just be quietly present to give caregivers a break. This support can be provided in the hospital, at home, as well as in long term care or community care facility. Our program is funded by individual donations and with the generous support of the Rotary Club of Montague through their Gold Mine Fundraiser. The Board of Directors would like to acknowledge and are grateful to the Rotary Club of Montague and their Gold Mine program, for their generous funding to the Hospice program. Hospice of Southern Kings County is hosting it’s first ever Lottery Tree Fundraiser! This is to help raise funds that help our organization keep running and volunteering within the community!

We are running this from October 6th to October 27th, with the draw taking place on Facebook live October 28th!
