A Reunion Leads to a Full-Circle Moment in Toronto

Nearly 30 years after graduating from Migdal Ohr, Vadim Danilov reunited in Toronto with Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Grossman, the educator who helped shape his Jewish journey.

Born in Russia and raised in Israel, Vadim studied at Midreshiat HaGalil in Migdal HaEmek, one of the educational institutions founded by Rabbi Grossman.

As a teenager, he was deeply influenced by the Torah, values, and guidance he received there. One memory stands above the rest: receiving his very first pair of tefillin from Rabbi Grossman, a gift he treasures to this day.

Today, after moving to Canada in 2023 and building a business serving the Jewish community (Jewride), he was able to personally reunite with the rabbi whose influence has stayed with him for decades.

"I will always feel that I am part of the Migdal Ohr family."

Shabbat Shalom!
