Congrats to all the dancers at Cowal Highland Gathering - with a special shout out to two Nova Scotia dancers & friends of our Games who are through to the World Adult Championships! 👏👏👏 EDITED to ADD: Huge shout out to another Nova Scotia dancer we often host at our Games who placed 4th in the Scottish Championships & will also compete in the World Championships in the Juvenile class! Way to go Sarah, Olivia, & Marielle!

What a weekend of wonderful conversations! Thanks to everyone who popped into our corner of the Shediac’s Annual Renaissance Faire ✨. We loved talking about our Highland Games (June 6-13, 2027!), sharing suggestions for Maritime kilt makers, heavy athletics training details, & so much more. Kudos to everyone who dressed up, braved the elements, and had a fantastic time. Slainte!

Saturday at 6pm the one and only Patti Charlton steps into the Field of Champions to showcase her heavy athletics prowess - she's off to the SAI - Scottish Athletics International Masters World Championship 2026 Driewegen in a few weeks! She'll teach us all about the strength-based challenges that date back centuries and are still an important part of Scottish heritage.

On Sunday, come ready to join hands and learn to dance! We'll be on the Tournament Grounds at 12pm & 1pm leading you through some square set moves - perfect for any age & no skill required!

(If you don't already have tickets, this is a sold out event - congrats to the organizers!!)
