Theme of the 2026 edition: Protection and prevention of trauma related to domestic violence and gender-based violence
This event, organized by the Women's Foundation for Dignity and Development in collaboration with the CCCCA-NB, will offer a safe space for dialogue, learning and community mobilization.

Elise Anaba, HR consultant and career coach
Liliane Ndayahoze, nurse
We also note that Mr. Aaron Kamondo will present a full update on the federal coercive control bill, a major legislative development aimed at better recognizing and penalizing forms of psychological, financial and non-physical violence within intimate relationships.
Forum objectives:
To inform about the dynamics of gender-based violence and the traumas experienced by women;
Present the available resources, without risk to immigration status;
Sharing practical tools for prevention and self-protection;
Raising awareness of legal reforms, in particular the draft law on coercive control;
Strengthening solidarity and resilience of African communities in New Brunswick.
