Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue

Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue located in Moncton, NB Canada. Also, all are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. When we do have openings, we ONLY take in stray cats, not owned cats.

Our adoption fees are as follows and include:

🐾 $250 per kitten
🐾 $200 per adult
🐾 $450 bonded kitten pairs
🐾 $350 bonded adult pairs We are a group of volunteers committed to helping cats and kittens who are homeless and in need of medical attention and a forever home. All cats & kittens in our care are examined by our vet, tested for feline Leukemia, treated with revolution, vaccinated (first

vaccinations for kittens), and if needed, treated for other medical needs they may require. The program is run by volunteers and operates solely on donations & fundraising. Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue is not open-door shelter. We are a no-kill rescue group with a maximum number of cats that we can afford, both financially and physically, to care for. We do not have a dedicated building but use foster homes throughout Moncton, Riverview & Dieppe. The number of cats we can allow into our program is directly related to the number of cats that we adopt into loving homes, thus freeing up a foster home to allow another cat in need to come into care. Please note: If your stray is injured or ill, please contact us and detail the circumstances; our focus is on abandoned and at-risk cats, so we will do our best to accommodate or assist you. We cannot assist you in placing a cat obtained from a private party under any circumstances. We are unable to help with feral (wild) cats. We can however suggest 2 local TNR groups that may be able to assist you in these cases. If you would like to surrender your own cat:
Riley's Legacy Cat Rescue is for stray or abandoned adoptable cats of all ages. We do not take in owner-surrendered cats. Please contact friends or family, the Greater Moncton SPCA, or one of the other rescue organizations in the area. $5 Friday is so important to our rescue, especially during these very difficult times. It helps cover vetting and other monthly costs associated (food, litter, etc) while waiting to find an adoptive home, or for those that call the rescue home forever.
With taking in cats that have ongoing medical issues or those harder to place felines, it increases our number in care. But those are who truly need us the most. It takes an immense amount of time, effort, and funds to care for those with special needs but it’s proven to be possible by having such a caring village of people who want to help them.

Wilma may look a little unimpressed in her photos, but this girl is an absolute lovebug! 😹 She adores pets and tummy rubs and is always happy to soak up some attention.

When she’s not busy getting cuddles, Wilma loves chasing toys, showing off her silly side, climbing her cat tree, and lounging by an open window while she watches and listens to the birds outside. 🐦💕

She’s also comfortable with laid-back, cat-friendly dogs, making her a wonderful addition to the right family.

All Wilma wants is a family who will spoil her, cherish her, and love her for all her quirky, sweet, hilarious personality. ❤️

💔 A YEAR IN CARE… AND STILL WAITING. 💔

Brooklyn & Blake have been in rescue care for ONE YEAR. That’s an entire year of watching other cats find their families while these two beautiful girls wait patiently for theirs.

They are more than deserving of a forever home. Please share their story! ❤️ You may not be looking to adopt, but someone on your friends list might be the perfect match for these girls.

🐾 Meet Brooklyn & Blake 🐾
📅 DOB: April 10, 2025

💕 Bonded sisters — must be adopted together

Brooklyn 🖤 is the outgoing one. Curious, playful, and people-oriented, she loves being close to her humans and will happily become your little shadow once she settles in. Feather toys are a favourite, and while she enjoys other cats, human attention is where she really shines.

Blake 🤎 is calmer and more reserved. She likes to take her time getting comfortable, but once she feels safe, her sweet and gentle personality comes out. She enjoys batting around smaller toys and has a quiet confidence that earns her serious “boss lady” status. 😉

Together, they are the perfect balance — Brooklyn brings the playful, social energy while Blake brings the calm and steady side. They truly complement one another and need to find their forever home together.

🏡 They would do best in a quieter home without young children or dogs, where they can relax, settle in and finally know what it feels like to be home.

And if you’re looking for professional window inspectors… these girls have you covered! 😂 They can spend hours watching birds, squirrels and leaves go by, safely supervising the neighbourhood from their favourite window.

One year is far too long to wait for a forever home. 💔
