Music For A Cure was started when Sarah Nesbitt was inspired by the memory of Helene Benoit Richard, to do her part in the fight against cancer.With the help of Helene's family and many musicians and volunteers, the 1st Music For A Cure (2009) was a huge success. Held at one of Helene's favorite spots - the family cottage in Sainte Marie De Kent, on the beautiful Bouchtouche River. All pr

This gave birth to a commitment for continuation of the project. Music For A Cure 2010 was then taken to St.Andrews-by-the-sea, to be a part of the St Andrews Kite Festival. Musicians performed on two different stages, one being at Indian Point during the family festivities and the other at the St.Andrews Curling Club, for an over 19 show.
