Salvus Clinic

Salvus Clinic Our inter-professional and community based approach to primary health care, means that we look at the whole person opposed to dealing with just one symptom.

At Salvus, our mission is to provide primary health care, housing support, and service navigation to those within our community who are surviving and experiencing barriers related to homelessness, poverty, mental health, and substance use. Salvus Clinic is a different kind of clinic, our philosophy much like our name derives from the Latin word meaning “safe” to which we provide a multi team appro

ach to care for those who feel hopeless, rejected and out of options. So along with our primary health care work we offer housing support, a blood clinic, community outreach, supportive addiction management, patient navigation and several specialized clinics in conjunction with our community partners including: Diabetic Clinic; Pain Clinic, and Spirometry clinic. Salvus Clinic’s proactive inclusive care model means that our neighbors dealing with poverty, mental health and addictions needs are being met and larger crises adverted. This has a positive impact on our community, especially when it comes to lessening the financial burdens off local health authorities, social development, and tax payers.

At Salvus, we are honoured to be a part of this important initiative bringing 14 new supportive housing units to Moncton!

This project represents a meaningful step forward in addressing homelessness in our community, transforming space into stability, dignity, and opportunity for those who need it most.

Through this initiative, residents will have access to support services from Salvus Clinic and the Department of Social Development, helping them connect with social support, healthcare, and resources as they work toward their goals.

We are proud of the incredible efforts of our team: tenant services staff, housing support workers, case managers, peer program coordinator, community navigator, healthcare providers, administrative staff and management. Every role contributes to providing compassionate, person-centred care and supporting individuals on their journey toward stability.

We thank our partners, the Department of Social Development and the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick, in bringing this project to life in Moncton. Together, we are helping build stability, hope, and brighter futures. 💙🏠

I'm happy to share that 14 new supportive housing units will be opening in Moncton to help individuals experiencing homelessness find stability and support in our community.

These new units will also provide residents with access to services from the Salvus Clinic and the Department of Social Development, helping ensure people have the support they need as they navigate difficult circumstances.

Projects like this truly matter here in Moncton. Having access to safe and supportive housing can make a meaningful difference for people working toward stability.

What a great day at the zoo with our participants! ☀️ The weather was perfect, the sun was shining, and the animals were active as we explored and enjoyed seeing them along the way 🐾

There were lots of smiles throughout the day 😊, along with a short educational session where we learned about different birds and their egg sizes and colors 🐦🥚. It was a fun, eventful afternoon where we created some great memories together!

Last week, the Salvus team was proud to join more than 250 frontline workers, non-profit leaders, and government representatives at the Community Advisory Board (CAB) Summit 2026 in Fredericton, NB!

Together, changemakers from across New Brunswick gathered to share vital data, knowledge, and best practices to improve our communities.

We are incredibly proud of the entire Salvus team for receiving the Human Development Council’s All-In Organization Award in recognition of the collaboration, dedication, and impact they bring to our communities every day. We’re also especially proud of our very own Meg Breau, who accepted the award on behalf of Salvus and was recognized as a Compassion Champion — powered by compassion, caffeine, and clean data!

Thank you to everyone working collaboratively to create stronger, more supportive communities across NB. 💙
