THIRD. The application of the ideal of service

in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;

FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

đŸŒ­â˜€ïž What a fantastic afternoon on the deck at the Alma Club!

Our members gathered this week for a wonderful summer BBQ, kicked off by a presentation from President Edgar Allain . Great food, great company, and the kind of fellowship that has been at the heart of Moncton Rotary.

Leading the way since 1920 and established as a Charity in 1967!

Thank you to everyone who came out — it was great connecting with old friends and new faces alike. This is what Rotary is all about: community, service, and a good meal shared together. đŸ€

Today was an awesome day to celebrate students. We presented 4 students from the surrounding area with scholarships to pursue their career dreams. These memorial scholarships are named and based on past Moncton Rotary Club members who served our community with service above self. (Pictured L to R. Anne Poirier Basque, Scholarship Committee Chair, Mathieu HachĂ© attended Moncton High School and received the Dr. Ralph Fitch Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500, Sydney Wood attended Bernice McNaughton High School and received the Avard Marven Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500, Oluwa-Tomi Owolabi attended École L'OdyssĂ©e and received the Robert Poirier Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500, Jesse Boudreau attended Harrison Trimble High School and received the James Roberts Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500 and Edgar Allain, New President of Moncton Rotary Club as of July 1, 2026).

Today our club had the pleasure of having a presentation from Anne Poirier Basque on the Art Gala Event held May 7th in support of the YWCA. In total the amount to support the YWCA was $25, 067 and $12,227 back to local artist as we don't ask them to donate their art work we pay them 50% and 50% goes to the YWCA. A win win for all involved.

Had a great club meeting at the Alma City Club on Tuesday. Kristal Leblanc, CEO of the Centre Courage Centre came to give us an overview of just one of their programs, which is the NB Jusitice Facility Dog Program. What an incredible orgainization. The Courage Centre is a trauma-informed counselling, support, and housing Centre for victims of family violence and their children, those who perpetrate violence, as well as for individuals experiencing emotional and life challenges. This weekend, members of the Moncton Rotary Club had the pleasure of attending the North Atlantic Rotary District 7815 Annual Conference hosted in Shediac, NB.

With wonderful guest speakers and lots of activities for all, including the unveiling of the Rotary Peace Pole.

A special thank you to outgoing District Governor Marcel Gervais from our own club for his dedicated leadership, commitment, and service throughout the past year. We would also like to welcome incoming District Governor Chris Hornberger of the Rotary Club of Halifax Harbour, who will officially begin her role in July.

Rotary AIP had special visitors tonight at our monthly Coffee Talk, District Governor Marcel Gervais and President Rob Stokes from The Rotary Club of Moncton. There was lots of great conversations about what is happening with Rotary and the upcoming district 7815 annual district conference this weekend in Shediac. We are excited to have 3 of our members presenting about AI at the conference. They will share with us the advantages of streamlining admin and the ethical use of this tool. It will be a great weekend of fellowship and learning, not unlike our monthly coffee talks!! Hope to see you there or feel free to join us at our monthly coffee talks.

Ce soir, lors de notre « Coffee Talk » mensuel, nous avons reçu des invitĂ©s de marque : Marcel Gervais, gouverneur de district, et Rob Stokes, prĂ©sident du Rotary Club de Moncton. Nous avons eu de nombreuses conversations passionnantes sur l'actualitĂ© du Rotary et sur la confĂ©rence annuelle du district 7815 qui se tiendra ce week-end Ă  Shediac. Nous sommes ravis que trois de nos membres fassent une prĂ©sentation sur l'IA lors de cette confĂ©rence. Ils nous feront part des avantages de la rationalisation des tĂąches administratives et de l'utilisation Ă©thique de cet outil. Last week, we were proud to be part of the 4th Spring Into Art Auction organized by the Rotary Club of Moncton in support of YWCA Moncton. 🎹

It was wonderful to see our community come together for such a special evening filled with beautiful artwork, meaningful conversations, amazing food by LeVeg, and an incredible atmosphere.

Thank you to all the artists, sponsors, attendees, volunteers, and community members who helped make the event such a success.

A special thank you the Rotary Club of Moncton for organizing this incredible event for the 4th year in a row in support of YWCA Moncton.

We would also like to thank Muchiri Muriu for beautifully capturing the energy and spirit of the evening through his photography.

It was truly an unforgettable night.
