Ghana 🇬🇭

06/03/2026

On June 1, we proudly raised the Ghanaian flag at Fredericton City Hall in celebration of the Cultural Expressions Festival 2026!

This year’s theme, "Akwaaba Meets Wazobia: A Journey of Unity in Diversity," celebrates the rich cultures, traditions, and community spirit of Ghana and Nigeria.

We extend our sincere thanks to the City of Fredericton for supporting this special occasion and helping us celebrate the diversity that strengthens our community.

The celebration continues next week with the raising of the Nigerian flag at City Hall on Monday, June 8th at 12pm, as we continue to recognize and honour the cultures featured in this year's festival.

Join us throughout June for a variety of multicultural activities leading up to the Cultural Expressions Festival on June 27 at Officers' Square.
