Look at this incredible spread!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Joan and all of the caring, generous people at West Lane Baptist Church for this amazing donation of pantry staples — pasta, rice, oats, soups, and so much more.

Donations like this go directly to feeding our neighbours here in Moncton, and every single item makes a difference.

This is what community looks like. Thank you, West Lane Baptist Church. 🩷

Last week, we were so happy to welcome friends from ANBL on Dieppe Blvd. to Karing Kitchen — and they did not come empty-handed!

They arrived with a box full of peanut butter and jam and a cheque for $1,419 to support our work in the community.

Pictured are Kat, Patty, and Marji.

This location has been a steadfast supporter of ours over the years, and we are so deeply grateful. It means the world to know we have partners in the community who truly care.

Thank you, ANBL Dieppe Blvd. You keep showing up for us, and we will never stop appreciating it.

Some people don't just support a cause, they live it. Bill and Cathy Fallon are exactly that kind of people. Truly.

Bill and Cathy have been incredible volunteers with Karing Kitchen, showing up with generous hearts and a true commitment to our community. Bill, a proud veteran and dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion, recently presented us with a $5,000 cheque on behalf of Branch 54, Sunnybrae of the RCL.

This kind of generosity means everything. It means more meals, more support, and more hope for the people who walk through our doors.

Bill, Cathy, and the entire Branch 54 family, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. 🩷

Today, we pause to honour women — their strength, their resilience, and everything they contribute to our communities and our world.

At Karing Kitchen, we are so fortunate to be surrounded by incredible women every single day.

To our Kitchen Master Patty — your dedication, your heart, and your hard work are the backbone of everything we do. We are endlessly grateful for you.

To our women volunteers — you show up, sleeves rolled up, ready to give. You make the magic happen.

To our women board members — your vision and leadership guide us forward with purpose.

To the women who walk through our doors — your courage inspires us. You remind us every day why this work matters.

Women have always had to fight for their place, their voice, and their rights. Today we acknowledge that fight, and we celebrate how far we've come, together.
Happy International Women's Day. 💜

We are incredibly grateful to the City of Moncton for once again awarding Karing Kitchen the Quality of Life Grant for $10,000.

This funding is a tremendous help to our organization and directly supports our ability to provide warm, nutritious lunches to those who rely on us each and every weekday. As food insecurity continues to affect an increasing number of individuals in our community, this support ensures that we can remain consistent, reliable, and present for those in need.

We are proud to partner with a city that recognizes the importance of food security and community well-being.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission of caring for our neighbours.

Today’s lunch at the Karing Kitchen is generously sponsored by Beth, Claire, Jenny, Lynn, Ronita, Sharon & Shelly in loving memory of Elaine’s brother, former Moncton Mayor George LeBlanc.

We are deeply saddened by his passing. George made a profound and lasting impact on our city, touching the lives of countless residents with his kindness, integrity, and unwavering dedication to the community.

Thank you to this special group of friends for choosing to honour his legacy in such a meaningful way. Your gesture is a reflection of the values George stood for: compassion, service, and care for others.

Our love and heartfelt condolences go out to Elaine, and the entire LeBlanc family. 💛
