Walks in the Woodlot - Frogs & Amphibians
Spring evenings are alive with sound! Join local naturalist Denise Iszczuk for a fun, family-friendly walk to discover the frogs and other amazing amphibians that call the woodlot home. Learn their unique songs, uncover their fascinating springtime behaviours, and find out simple ways you can help protect these incredible creatures. It’s a hop, skip, and a splash into nature for all ages!

🦉Lives in Year Round in Southern Ontario
🦉Eats small animals like worms, insects, crayfish, frogs, mice and rabbits
🦉Doesn’t build a nest; Lays 2-6 white eggs in holes or cavities
🦉Nocturnal (it hunts for food at night)
