We are excited to welcome our new Board of Directors as they begin another year of serving our community with dedication, leadership, and heart.

Our club continues to make a difference because of volunteers who are willing to step up, share their time, and work together to support the many projects, events, and initiatives that make Mitchell such a wonderful place to call home.

Congratulations and thank you to each of our new board members for taking on these important roles. We appreciate your commitment to serving others and look forward to another successful year together.

📢Kayak Key Pick-Up Changes Beginning September 1st.
Beginning September 1, 2026, pick up of kayak and locker keys will move to the West Perth Public Library for the remainder of the season.
Reservation times on RecDesk now align with the Library’s operating hours for reservations effective September 1st and onward. All kayak reservations must be made online. The Library is not able to accommodate in‑person reservations.

🌳 Tree Removal Notice at Lions Park Playground
A tree at Lions Park has developed a significant split and, following an arborist assessment, must be removed for safety. The playground will be temporarily closed during the removal process.
🌱 Three new trees will be planted to help offset the loss and continue supporting our community’s urban canopy.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to keep our parks safe and maintain our green spaces.

The wait is almost over! The Mitchell Lions Club Fish Fry is happening tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to serving another great meal to our community.
